After two early attempts to produce a regular school magazine, The Elizabethan, in 1870 (Volume 1) and then 1877 to 1879 (Volumes 2 and 3), The Elizabethan restarted (Volume 1 again!) in 1889 and continues to this day. Initially with six issues per year this reduced to four issues pa during WW1, three after WW11 and it is now produced annually in Michaelmas term. These magazines paint a full picture of school life over the past 130 years: its academic achievements, sporting successes and rich co-curricular life.
